Right from the start in 1992, Nhan Hoa Clinic has been an independent, not-for-profit clinic to the majority of patients having little or no insurance.

Being independent has given the clinic the opportunity to be flexible and quickly responsive to the needs of the community.

Independence also means challenges to financial sustainability. Revenue generation, grants, and donor contributions remain essential. Estimation for renovation cost is thoroughly reviewed. While the revenues generated by being a Federally Qualified Health Center are significant, Nhan Hoa services will continually require grant support.

It is our mission to provide better quality and compassionate care. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to keep our patients’ needs in mind and to keep our staff well-trained.

NHC is supervised by an elected 7-member board of trustees, who are elected for a 6-year term and meet monthly. The trustees are responsible for everything covering health center operations, including the care of the building and grounds, control and supervision of physicians; nurses and other employees.
